The purpose of the program and the skills that are acquired at the end of the study program

The purpose of the “Hospitality-Tourism” professional program is to prepare professionals for the hospitality-tourism sector, to serve the needs of the tourism industry, where the demand for qualified staff is increasing. The development of the practical skills learned in the auditorium is made possible in the most popular hotel businesses in the country by offering students the opportunity of on-the-job training and employment.

The entire academic process is guided and aimed at students at the end of the study cycle:

To have the necessary knowledge and practical skills in the field of hospitality and tourism.
To have a stable knowledge base in the management of hotel accommodation structures, event management, beverage service, etc.
Have basic knowledge in the tourism industry.
To be equipped with the basic knowledge, skills and techniques of cultural tourism promotion; ecotourism, development of tourist guides, etc.
Demonstrate professional and effective communication, collaborative and leadership skills in fulfilling the goals and objectives of the group in which they will be engaged.

VKM above average grade. The average grade criterion is not applied (VKM no. 436 dt. 3.6.2020).

Official duration of studies 2 years, 4 semesters, 120 credits (ECTS)
