“Qiriazi” University College is one of the first non-public higher education institutions in Albania, with a 19-year history of success and dedication to knowledge.
Founded in 2006, this institution proudly bears the name and values of three emblematic figures of Albanian national education: the Qiriazi Sisters and Kristo Dako, who, in this very building, founded in 1922 the Kyrias Female Institute—a true “national nest” that left an indelible mark on the history of education in the country.
This legacy is one of the unique reasons why the emblem of “Qiriazi” University College is, and will remain, the bright history of these distinguished figures. It embodies the identity, mission, and spirit that guide our institution.
At the core of our work lies the harmonization of contemporary Western university models with the Albanian reality and the needs of today’s students. Our goal is to provide high academic standards.
Our mission, in line with the higher education law, is to prepare capable specialists in the fields of economics and law, who will become “leaders of thought and action” in society.
At “Qiriazi” University College, the student is at the center of every activity. The values that guide our institution are:
-
Integrity,
-
Quality of the academic staff,
-
Mutual respect,
-
Institutional and social responsibility,
-
Transparency in governance.
These values are not only written principles but the very foundation upon which we build the present and the future of education at “Qiriazi” University College.
