Permanent Commissions


The permanent commissions are collegial bodies that perform functions in the fields defined by the statute, mainly related to scientific qualification and academic promotion, ensuring the quality standards of the institution and its study programs, overseeing its activities, and maintaining relations with students, in line with the institution’s mission and policies.

The permanent commissions are collegial bodies established at the institutional level and at the level of the main units. They are composed of five members.

The permanent commissions established at “Qiriazi” University College at the institutional level are:

  • Permanent Commission for ensuring the quality standards of the institution and its study programs;

  • Permanent Commission for student relations.

Members of the Permanent Commissions self-nominate and are elected by the Assembly of Academic Staff of the main unit, with the right of re-election.

The functions and organization of the Permanent Commissions are defined in the regulations of “Qiriazi” University College.

Other permanent commissions, at the institutional level or at the level of the main units, may be established by decision of the Academic Senate and shall perform functions as defined in their founding act and operational regulations.

Ethics Council


At “Qiriazi” University College, the Ethics Council is established, which promotes or reviews issues related to ethics in teaching and research activities, as well as in other institutional activities. It reports directly to the Rector.

The Ethics Council is composed of three members, proposed by the Rector and approved by the Academic Senate. One of them is appointed as the Chair of the Ethics Council. The members of this Council have a two-year mandate, with the right of re-appointment by the Academic Senate.

Members of the Ethics Council are representatives from the academic staff, students, and the governing bodies of the institution.

The Ethics Council reviews and makes decisions on issues raised by the academic staff, administrative staff, and students of “Qiriazi” University College, related to the ethics of the academic staff, administrative staff, and students.

The rights, duties, organization, and functioning of this council are defined in the Regulation of the Ethics Council, which is approved by the Academic Senate.
