Purpose and Skills Acquired Upon Completion of the Study Program

The purpose of the Bachelor program in Hotel and Tourism Management is for students to acquire professional and leadership skills that will serve them personally, to businesses, and to the community in which they will operate.

This program prepares tourism specialists with high-quality technical and professional skills, oriented toward a successful career, in line with contemporary models and visions of public and private institutional structures, within the context of globalization and European integration.

The entire academic process is guided with the aim that, upon completion of the study cycle, students will:

  • Have the necessary knowledge to be formed as specialists in management and marketing in small and medium-sized businesses, in both the public and private sectors, in the field of hospitality and tourism.

  • Possess knowledge of entrepreneurial perspectives and be able to identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities.

  • Have a solid foundation of knowledge in management, marketing, finance, and economics, demonstrating professionalism in the fields of hospitality, tourism, and marketing, as well as being prepared for more advanced studies.

  • Demonstrate professional and effective communication, as well as collaborative and leadership skills in fulfilling the goals and objectives of the groups they will be engaged in.
