Prof. Dr. Abdyl Sinani is a distinguished figure in the field of Food Science and Food Technology. He graduated from the Faculty of Natural Sciences in Tirana with a degree in Industrial Chemistry. He earned the degree of “Candidate of Sciences” (Doctor) in 1983, the academic title “Senior Scientific Collaborator” (Docent) in 1992, the title “Research Master” (Associate Professor) in 1995, and the title “Professor” in 2004. He is the author of numerous academic textbooks, such as: Food Technology Chemistry, Food Merceology, Grain Milling Technology, Grain Storage and Processing Technology, etc. He is also the author of several monographs and scientific articles, including: Grain as a Raw Material for Industry, Corn Germination, Theoretical Foundations for Building Milling Diagrams, etc. Additionally, he is the co-author of several valuable studies, such as: Food Law and Codex Alimentarius, Study on the Quality and Safety of Domestically Produced Food Products, among others.
...He is the author of several course programs, a participant and presenter at numerous scientific conferences both in Albania and abroad, as well as a leader and contributor to many important projects and studies in the field of food technology. Prof. Dr. Abdyl Sinani has served as a specialist, director, and Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Light and Food Industry and in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. From 1993 to 1998, he was an advisor to the Prime Minister. He currently manages a private business and is a member of the Scientific Council of the Chemical-Technological Institute, a member of the Presidency of the Union of Chambers of Industry of Albania, and a visiting lecturer at the Agricultural University of Tirana and at the University of Tetovo, North Macedonia. He holds the scientific degree of Doctor and the academic title of Professor.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Enida Bozheku received the title of Associate Professor at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Law, Department of Criminal Law and Procedure, in 2023; the title Doctor of Science in Criminal Law and Procedure at the Department of Criminal, Philosophical–Legal, and Canonical Studies, Faculty of Law, “Sapienza” University of Rome (Italy), in 2014; and the title Doctor of Science in Political Studies at the Department of Political Studies, Faculty of Political Science, Sociology and Communication, “Sapienza” University of Rome (Italy), in 2020. She completed postgraduate second-level specialization studies in International Commercial Law at the Faculty of Economics, “Sapienza” University of Rome (Italy), in 2009. She also pursued specialization studies in Human Resources Management at the Institute of Social Research and Managerial Training, Rome (Italy), in 2008.
...From December 2021 to September 2023, she served as Head of the Department of Public and Criminal Law at the Faculty of Law, “Qiriazi” University College, Tirana, Albania, and lecturer in Criminal Law and Procedure. Since 2015, she has been a visiting lecturer at “eCampus” Telematic University, Rome (Italy), teaching Criminal Law and Procedure. She has also been a visiting lecturer at “Pegaso” Telematic University, Rome (Italy), in 2010, as well as at the Faculty of Law – University of Tirana in 2015. Since 2009, she has been actively practicing as a lawyer both in Rome (Italy) and in Tirana (Albania). Since 2010, she has been a member of AIDP – International Association of Penal Law, based in Syracuse, Italy; a member of Rotary Club International Tirana, part of Rotary International, Illinois, USA; and a member of CESIAL – Centro Studi Alta Formazione Italo–Albanese within CEMAS – Centro Interdipartimentale per la Ricerca Scientifica e la Cooperazione con l’Eurasia, il Mediterraneo e l’Africa Subsahariana of “Sapienza” University, Rome, Italy. She is the author of dozens of scientific–legal and publicistic articles, as well as three scientific monographs: The Deontology of the Legal Profession (2014), Summary Trial: Doctrinal and Interpretative Profiles (2016), and Interpretative Lines of the Legal Norm: Law, Structure and Substructure (2017).
Prof. Dr. Vejsel Rizvanolli has extensive academic, teaching, and research experience at the University of Sports, Tirana. He is the author of textbooks and monographs in the field of education and sports. He has participated in a considerable number of important projects as leader, coordinator, and partner with European funding, focusing on the development of sports in general and university sports in particular. For many years, he served as Director of ILKF “Vojo Kushi” and as head of the main structures of the University of Sports. He was a key contributor to the reorganization and transformation of ILKF “Vojo Kushi” into its current status as the Public University of Sports, Tirana. From 2008 to 2014, he was elected Rector of this university. Between 1994–1996, he was part of the government cabinet, serving as Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth, and Sports, where he made a significant contribution to the drafting of the first Law on Sports in 1996.
...Prof. Dr. Vejsel Rizvanolli has had an outstanding sports career, with notable engagements and contributions in the field of sports, such as: athlete of the Tirana team and the Albanian national volleyball team; President of the Albanian Volleyball Federation; member of the National Sports Council; member of the Albanian Olympic Executive Committee, as well as member and chair of several sports boards and commissions within the Albanian Olympic Committee. He holds the scientific degree of Doctor and the academic title of Professor.
Prof. Dr. Halit Xhafa has extensive academic experience in teaching and scientific research at the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana (UT), as well as at several other public and private universities, both in Albania and abroad. He is the author of university textbooks in the field of finance, such as: Financial Management; International Financial Management; Management of Public Organizations; and Financial Statement Analysis. He has also published a series of textbooks for economic high schools. He has contributed to the drafting of new curricula in contemporary disciplines in the field of finance, to the accreditation of universities and new programs in various institutions nationwide. He has authored a considerable number of articles, papers, presentations, and has participated in scientific activities and conferences at both the local and international level, as well as in several scientific studies in the field of finance and banking.
...He has supervised around 20 doctoral candidates for the degree Doctor of Science and a considerable number of thesis projects at the Bachelor and Master levels. After 1990, he pursued specializations and qualifications at various universities in the USA, England, Germany, Greece, and elsewhere. For many years, he served as the leader of SIFE at the University of Tirana (UT), a student activity for the promotion of entrepreneurship, achieving significant results, including national, European, and world competition victories, winning titles and trophies in these contests. Prof. Dr. Halit Xhafa has had and continues to have active contributions and engagements, serving as a member of the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania, on the boards of second-level banks and various public enterprises, as well as Director of a Directorate at the Ministry of Finance, among others. He holds the scientific degree of Doctor and the academic title of Professor.
