The Faculty of Education, Social Sciences and Sports (FESHSS) is a main academic unit that:
a) Coordinates teaching, scientific research, and third-party services.
b) Provides educational, professional, and scientific training in the fields of social sciences, education, and sports.
c) Offers First Cycle and Second Cycle study programs, at the conclusion of which students are awarded a diploma.

Studies at FESHSS aim at the professional education and scientific qualification of students in social sciences, education, and sports, through the integration of teaching with research. The Faculty offers study programs in these fields, developing them in accordance with the needs of society, existing conditions, and the country’s development perspectives.

University study programs are organized in two consecutive levels: the First Cycle and the Second Cycle of studies. FESHSS offers accredited study programs, structured in modules and evaluated in credits according to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). The total number of credits accumulated by a full-time student during one academic year is 60 credits.

The study programs are designed and approved by the departments, discussed at the Dean’s Office, and approved by the Academic Senate of the College. The Faculty publicly announces its accredited study programs before the start of admissions.

First Cycle and Second Cycle study programs include:
a) General information about the program, its form and main objectives, the curriculum, and the mandatory study credits.
b) The classification of the study program, applicable within the national qualifications framework, as well as the admission requirements.
c) The methods of student assessment and the conditions for progress within the program.
d) The conditions for transfers between programs and the conditions for partial completion of the program, where applicable.

Graduation at both levels of university studies ensures the training of specialists capable of contributing to the resolution of technical problems in their respective fields. The study programs at FESHSS refer to the theoretical and practical achievements of social sciences, education, and sports, with the aim of achieving a level comparable to the diplomas of analogous faculties abroad.
