“Qiriazi” University Organized the 2nd Edition of the Job Fair

“Qiriazi” University organized the 2nd Edition of the Job Fair, where students and alumni had the opportunity to get acquainted with employment and professional internship offers from various companies operating in fields such as economics, business, hospitality, sports, law, food technology, information technology, and more.

The opening speech was delivered by the President of “Qiriazi” University, Prof. Dr. Gjokë Uldedaj, who welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of cooperation between the university and labor market actors, as well as the initiatives undertaken by the institution to facilitate student employment.

The fair was also greeted by the Deputy Mayor of Kamëz Municipality, Mrs. Rebeka Sulejmani, and the General Director of the prestigious Spanish hospitality brand in Albania, “Melia Hotels Internationals,” Mr. Pedro Luis Vazquez Cobos, among others.

In his remarks, the Rector of “Qiriazi” University, Prof. Dr. Maksim Meço, expressed the privilege he feels in leading an institution with a glorious history and a clear vision for the future.

During the fair, manufacturing and trading companies presented their booths, where students had the chance to visit, exchange experiences, and create valuable contacts for their professional future.

The novelty of this year was the signing of employment contracts between “Melia Hotels Internationals” and students from the Hospitality-Tourism and Hotel Management-Tourism programs who participated in the event.

As part of the university’s tradition of recognizing excellent students, the Administrator of “Qiriazi” University, Mrs. Roza Uldedaj, hired Finance program student Desina Maloku—who graduated with high results—as part of the administrative staff.

The event concluded in a festive atmosphere, with a barbecue prepared by students of the Hospitality-Tourism program, accompanied by a DJ, live music, and dances performed by “Qiriazi” University students themselves.
