Program Objective and Skills Acquired upon Completion of Studies
The professional program “Social and Health Care” aims to serve the social and healthcare system by preparing qualified specialists, capable of contributing professionally to the provision of services for citizens.
Upon completion of the program, students will possess:

Sufficient theoretical and practical skills in the social and psychological field, particularly in communicating and working with patients of different ages, people with special needs, and the elderly.

Skills for the organization and functioning of social and healthcare service centers, as well as for bringing these services closer to citizens.

Theoretical and practical knowledge of applied health sciences and nursing, including anatomy, physiology, major diseases of different organ systems, therapies and care during and after treatment, as well as patient rehabilitation processes.

Opportunities for Further Studies
The credits earned in this program may be transferred to another program of the same level, either within this institution or in other higher education institutions, giving students the opportunity to pursue further studies in Albania or abroad.
